DencoHappel was acquired by Triton Fund IV in October 2014
DencoHappel is a leading technology innovator in the field of air treatment, air conditioning, and filter technology as well as cooling process air. It provides customized heating, ventilation, and air conditioning treatments while reducing energy consumption. The Company operates under various premium brands: CAIRplus®, DENCO®, MultiMAXX®; Multi Flair®, DencoHappel COM4®, Flex-Geko®, FireTex®, SepTex® and Sahara® as well as the DELBAG® products.
Headquartered in Herne, Germany, DencoHappel has production sites in Germany, Great Britain, Czech Republic, Turkey, China and India. Its sales organizations and distributors in more than 50 countries ensure proximity, flexibility and custom solutions for each customer.
Prior to Triton ownership, DencoHappel was the Air Treatment division within the GEA Group AG's Heat Exchanger segment. The former division became a standalone company, and in August 2015 was branded DencoHappel. The two remaining Heat Exchanger segments have also become standalone and independent companies, namely, Kelvion (formerly Heat Exchanger Systems) and ENEXIO (formerly Power Cooling Solutions).
In 2016 DencoHappel merged with Fläkt Woods, a leading provider of air comfort and fire safety solutions. Today FläktGroup is a new European market leader for energy-efficient solutions in the area of ventilation and air conditioning.
