Assemblin strenghtens position in ventilation and district heating
Stockholm (Sweden), 24 September 2020 – Assemblin, a Triton IV Fund portfolio company, has recently acquired the companies Luftkompaniet Sjöblom AB (Luftkompaniet) and Mälardalens Fjärrvärme Entreprenad AB (Mälardalens Fjärrvärme) thereby strengthening its position in ventilation and district heating in Sweden.
The ventilation company Luftkompaniet operates primarily in the Stockholm region, with annual sales of approximately SEK 80 million and around 15 employees. The company has enjoyed continuous growth and healthy profitability since its founding in 1990 offering different types of works contracts, but also provides certain service operations.
District heating company Mälardalens Fjärrvärme employs 11 people in Västerås and has cutting-edge expertise in district heating and culvert work. The acquisition forms the second add-on to Assemblins platform for the district heating market in the Mälardalen region which commenced with the acquisition of Industri- och Värmemontage Werme AB in 2019.
