dogado continues M&A strategy with acquisition of METANET in Switzerland
Dortmund (Germany), 10 January 2022 – The established Swiss hoster METANET becomes part of dogado group, a company of the Triton III portfolio company European Directories. With its first acquisition in Switzerland, dogado group reaches an important milestone in its intensiveM&A strategy: the owner-managed company is now one of the leading hosting providers in the DACH region.
The acquisition of the Swiss hoster METANET is the fourth acquisition of the dogado group in the calendar year 2021. dogado has successfully integrated a total of 28 companies from Germany, Austria and Switzerland into its Cloud & Domains and Digital Marketing business units under CEO Daniel Hagemeier. "Our ambition is to combine the best products and experts in a unique way within our company," Hagemeier explained the dogado group's integration strategy. In this way, the company aims to constantly create better offers for its customers in the online business world. "We are now implementing this strategy throughout the DACH region," commented Hagemeier on the first acquisition in Switzerland.
The mission that METANET entrepreneurs Tilia and Mirco Schnarwiler have been pursuing for a long time fits seamlessly into the strategy of the dogado group: "We want to offer reliable web solutions with fast and personal support to make small and medium-sized businesses successful online," Tilia Schnarwiler explains the successful recipe behind METANET.
