European Directories announces acquisition of easyname GmbH by dogado GmbH
Dortmund (Germany) / Vienna (Austria), 3 June 2020 - European Directories, a Triton Fund III portfolio company, announced that its majority owned subsidiary dogado GmbH has completed the acquisition of 100% of the share capital of easyname GmbH, a webhosting and domain business in Austria.
easyname, the second largest Austrian hosting provider, is now part of the dogado group. Florian Schicker, CEO and Founder of easyname, will join the leadership team around dogado CEO Daniel Hagemeier. He will remain co-owner and also head the Austrian business and international expansion.
This transaction establishes dogado GmbH as a leading mid-sized hosting company in DACH and continues its buy-and-build strategy in this sector.
