Leadec acquires technical service provider Precis
Stuttgart/Brandenburg an der Havel (Germany), 3 August 2020 – Leadec, a Triton Fund IV portfolio company and one of the leading technical service providers for the manufacturing industries worldwide, acquired Precis Maschinen und Anlagen Service GmbH in Brandenburg an der Havel. Details of the transaction were not disclosed.
Precis is specialized in services for industrial facilities and offers maintenance, electrical engineering, logistics and cleaning services, among others. “Precis’s technical services fit perfectly into our portfolio and strengthen our offering for customers in the region. In addition, Brandenburg is a strategically important electromobility location,” says Alexander Bonk, Managing Director Leadec Germany.
Leadec will take over Precis’s roughly 50 employees and care for the customers with immediate effect. The company has provided services to ZF Getriebe Brandenburg, Rolls Royce, Deutsche Bahn and other companies for many years.
Precis Maschinen und Anlagen Service GmbH was founded in 2003, the predecessor company was established in 1990. The company’s industrial portfolio includes electrical engineering, internal logistics, maintenance, metalworking fluids management, utilities supply, industrial cleaning as well as quality checks in long-distance train cleaning.
Leadec employs about 20,000 employees at more than 300 sites worldwide, often directly at the customers’ plants and facilities. With this acquisition, Leadec strengthens its position especially in the three service clusters Install (Electrical Installation, Mechanical Installation and Relocation), Maintain (Production Equipment Maintenance and Technical Cleaning) and Support (Technical and Infrastructural Facility Management and Logistics).
