Leadec acquires two companies from Servycat in Spain
Stuttgart (Germany), Vic (Spain), 16 January 2025 – Leadec, a Triton Fund IV portfolio company and leading global service specialist for factories and related infrastructure, has acquired Manteniments Industrials Servycat 2017, S.L.U. and Electro Servycat, S.L. with effect from January 2, 2025. The service companies in Spain complement Leadec’s technical expertise and further expand its customer base in the food and beverage industry.
“With its technical profile, its customers and its culture, Servycat is an excellent fit for Leadec. The acquisition strengthens our services in the food sector, which is becoming increasingly important for us. Equally important is the technical expertise that customers from different industries rely on,” says Markus Glaser-Gallion, CEO of Leadec.
Servycat was founded in 2007 and has 330 employees. The company offers services such as maintenance, mechanical and electrical installations, plant installation and modernization as well as metalworking services for industrial companies. A particular focus is on the food and beverage industry, in which Servycat has specialized. Servycat is based in Vic in the Barcelona region and currently works for around 50 customers in the industrial region of Catalonia.
“Becoming part of a strong company opens up new opportunities for us. It enables us to support our customers even better, both nationally and internationally. Thanks to the synergies within the group, we can offer them additional services from a single source, such as technical cleaning or technical facility management,” explains Antoni Castro, founder and Managing Director of Servycat.
Leadec has been operating in Spain since the beginning of 2024. The starting point was a multi-year contract for Integrated Facility Management with an international technology and services company.
“Catalonia is one of the strongest industrial regions in Spain with numerous companies from the food and pharmaceutical industries as well as other sectors. Our broad range of services provides great potential to support other interesting customers here,” explains Georgi Tschumburidse, Senior Vice President Continental Europe and UK at Leadec.
Paulina Lujan, Managing Director Leadec Spain, adds: “By expanding our presence, we are unlocking new opportunities to better serve our customers. This step enhances our ability to deliver innovative solutions and broadens our service portfolio, positioning us as a key partner in driving value and excellence for industrial companies across Spain.”
